What do I repair? I only repair these now …
Technics pianos and ensembles – I have made test rigs for many circuit boards.
I can tell you how to remove the relevant circuit board to send here for repair from anywhere in the U.K. and anywhere in the world.
Technics keyboards – no test rigs so cannot repair without the whole keyboard.
Maybe some older Roland pianos and keyboards (NOT synths) if I have parts in stock.
I no longer repair Yamaha with a few possible exceptions – see my Yamaha page.
No other makes.
I do not give advice about how to repair things.

I need the Make AND the Model AND a good description of the problem.
If you don’t give the Make, Model and problem, your message will be ignored – sorry!
U.K. customers – can leave me a message if I’m already on the phone.
Please give your name, your phone number (mobile or landline), the latest time of night you don’t mind a call back, the make, the model number and a description of what’s wrong.
I don’t need your email address. I will call you back to discuss the problem. Talking is better than emailing and takes far less time.

NOTE – I only do overseas repairs for Technics pianos and ensembles.
Try telephoning on a Monday but you can ring on other days.
Leave a message giving your name, your Country, the Technics model you have, the problem and your email address. Say your email address slowly and clearly two times using the PHONETIC or ARMY ALPHABET below. I do not telephone Countries outside the U.K.
If you get no reply within a day or two please ring and leave your email address again.

To arrange when to deliver a repair or when to collect a completed repair you can leave a message on any day at any time but please give times I can contact you
especially the latest time of night you don’t mind getting a phone call.
My address – I will give you my address if you want to bring or send something for repair.
I don’t put my postal address or email address on my website. This is to avoid enquiries by letter or email (discussing things by telephone is much quicker) and also to prevent customers from just turning up on my doorstep when they feel like it!
Visits to deliver and collect repairs are only by arrangement to save you wasted journeys.
I’m here most of the time but not all of the time.
Payment method update
For goods being collected from me I no longer accept payment by cheque unless you send a cheque in advance and wait until it has cleared.
Otherwise payment must be by cash on collection or by bank transfer prior to collection.
For goods posted to me, I will contact you as usual for payment before returning your goods.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused by this.
